Warning Signs of Sin
One of the topics we discussed today was the purity of marriage. This topic lead to a brief discussion on internet pornography. Dr. Scott shared that he keeps on guard and watches 3 signs that almost always lead to sin. These signs are:

If you are alone or isolated with a [...]
Fun week for sure
I am on a lunch break now. My professor for this class told us that the class is designed to be all day for five days, but we are forced to condense it to three. Originally, it was scheduled for five, but he had a conference that he has to attend on Friday. Then he [...]

Full StoryNote from my thought journal.
I have been reading The Confessions written by Augustine this week to wrap up my assignments for my church history class. I had to read and keep a thought journal for additional credit. Here is a thought some of you will appreciate.

Full StoryBusy
That is what I have been lately. My first semester in seminary is nearly complete. The last class is November 19th. This date is approaching fast so it means a lot of writing on top of the normal weekly reading of a few hundred pages. I turned in a 20 page paper this week.
Do not [...]
Studying
I am studying for my mid-terms right now. Well, not right now. I took a break to blog about it. I am interested to see how this studying thing works out.
This is new to me. When I did my undergrad work I would miss classes, I would not study, then I would cram all night [...]
Reading
I added up the number of pages I have read since I started my classes and I have already read over 1000 pages. This is since August 13th. That is more in a month than most years for me.
I am not sure how I am doing it.
By the way, does anybody know when football season starts?
