Scripture Memorization

I am working on memorizing 40 verses for my Personal Evangelism class midterm test. So, forgive me if you see me this weekend and I quote scripture to you.
I think the toughest part will be getting some conjunctions and tenses mixed up. Some verses start with and, some start with but, and some start with for. I don’t think any of those change the meaning of the verses, but who knows how strict they grade them.
Tonight, I have been taking a verse and meditating on it for about 15 -20 minutes while I am cleaning up the house. After awhile I go write the verse down, which seems to help. My daughter told me that if I write them down seven times each then I will have them memorized, but that would leave me with hand cramps.
Well, the good thing is that when I know these 40 verses I won’t need to carry tracts with me.

I don’t know for sure because it has not been graded, but I think I did well. I did not leave any blank, and I think I got most of the fors and buts straight. The amazing part is that I actually still remember some of them.
