Research Paper

Today in my Christian philosophy class we got to select the topic for our research paper. This is a little like selecting between different methods of torture. Flogging anyone? So when the professor announced that we would choose in reverse alphabetical order, I was not too discouraged (last name is Blair).
Almost everyone had selected their topics and the choice fell to me. I decided on Biblical inerrancy. Not too bad, right? Not too bad until the professor informed me that he had written a research paper on that same topic. He said, “My paper was 48 pages long and I felt like I only scratched the surface on this topic. So, I will really look forward to reading your paper.”
The guy next to me look over and said, “Dead man walking.” Very reassuring.
There is nothing like a challenge. Please pray for me. LaTonya, when you sing a spiritual song, call out my name! (approximately 5 people on the planet will understand that reference)

Sounds like there is at least one good 48 page paper for you to look up & read. In fact that paper probably cuts down your research time because it will have reference materials and such for you to have as a foundation. You might also take one aspect of his paper and then just expand on it. Keeping a narrow focus can limit the time, energy and trees you kill on this project.
